Nollywood filmmaker Funke Akindele has unveiled new images from her upcoming film, The Four: No One Fights Alone, giving audiences another look at the project ahead of its global cinema release on December 11, 2026.

The film is produced by Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV) and will be distributed by FilmOne Entertainment. The first-look images arrive after the earlier announcement of the film, which introduced its title, lead characters and large ensemble cast.

The Four centres on Esosa and three women who are fiercely loyal to her. Their lives take a dramatic turn when they leave their community for the city to fight for the future of a young man they love. The journey puts their friendship, courage and loyalty to the test, with the film’s subtitle, No One Fights Alone, reflecting the bond at the centre of the story.

The project brings together Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Chukwuka and Waje, who make up the four women at the centre of the film. The supporting cast includes Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Wunmi Toriola, Ronke Oshodi Oke and Antar Laniyan, among others.

The newly released images also give more attention to the world of the film and its visual identity. According to information released about the production, elements of Nigerian culture, including language, traditions, locations and Adire-inspired fashion, form part of the film’s creative direction.

The Four will be Funke Akindele’s next major cinema release and continues her long-running December presence at the Nigerian box office. Over the past few years, Akindele has released several major films during the festive period, including Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, A Tribe Called Judah and Everybody Loves Jenifa.

Her previous announcement of The Four was preceded by a football-themed teaser featuring Richard Mofe-Damijo, Olumide Oworu, Tobi Bakre, Uzee Usman and other actors. The teaser kept audiences guessing about which project Funke Akindele Network was preparing before the title was officially revealed.

With the new images now released, the promotion for The Four is gradually giving audiences a clearer picture of the characters and the world they will encounter when the film arrives in cinemas.
