The Offer is a collaboration between BAP Productions, Terra Kulture, and The 37th Avenue Group. It is written by Bolanle Austen-Peters and Kanyinsola Kongi, directed by Luwamide Femi Isedowo, with Abayomi Alvin serving as co-director and producer.
The play tells the story of a struggling married couple whose lives take an unexpected turn after a wealthy chief presents them with an offer that could change their future forever. Set against a world where desire and opportunity collide, the production blends humour, drama, romance, and suspense to explore the emotional price of ambition and the difficult bargains people make when life presents them with tempting opportunities. It asks one important question: when the offer comes, what are you willing to give up?
Alvin described the project as one of the most exciting stories he has ever worked on, adding that having familiar faces in the audience during his first stage acting experience would mean a lot to him and would encourage him as he explores a new dimension of his career. He expressed confidence that the production would resonate with audiences because of its relatable storyline and thought-provoking themes, and noted that the production promises an engaging theatrical experience that combines drama, emotion, and audience participation, reflecting the growing popularity of interactive theatre in Nigeria.
