Ogochukwu Umeadi is a Nigerian Producer-Director working across film, television, and multimedia, with many projects in development at Twenty Pounds Entertainment, his production company. His credits include "Beautiful Junks" (2018), a U.S. Embassy Documentary Masterclass production, and "Black Sands" (2025), ranked among Afrokritic’s 2025 Top 20 Short Films in Africa. His works, "No Let Dem Die" (2025), a Goethe-Institut Postmemory, Postarchive grant recipient, and "Ashawo… Or An Ode to Nigerian 'Religious' Men" (2025), an awardee of the inaugural CEISA emerging Filmmaker award, are on the festival circuit, reflecting his interest in power, culture, and contemporary Nigerian realities. "Stories That Touch", his anthology of Nigerian life distilled into intimate human moments, was presented at AISFM 2026. He is a DAAD MA FCAS Scholar, a DFMI Business Lab Fellow, a British Council Film Lab Africa Alumni, an AfCFTA National Youth Champion, a dRPC Creative grant recipient and more recently a panelist on the dRPC facilitated NIPSS National Dialogue with Young Creatives.
