When Love Begins

Dashing Films is holding an open casting call for an upcoming film production filming in Enugu State, Nigeria.

We are looking for talented male and female actors between the ages of 18 and 50 who are resident in Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi or Abia State.

Both experienced actors and emerging talents are welcome to audition.

This is an opportunity to showcase your acting ability, emotional expression, screen presence and natural delivery.

The audition is open from 3 September 2026 to 23 September 2026.

Perform the one-minute monologue provided for this casting call.

Record yourself performing the monologue and post the audition video on Instagram, tagging @dashingfilmstv.

After posting the video, copy the link to your Instagram post and submit it through this Nollywood CV audition form.

Your performance should not exceed one minute.

Record in a quiet, well-lit environment and make sure your face and voice are clearly visible and audible.

Do not use filters, background music or excessive editing.

Monologue:

“I have spent a long time pretending that I am fine.

I smile when I am hurting, I say I am okay when I am not, and I keep telling everyone that everything will work out.

But the truth is, I am tired.

I am tired of being strong for everybody else while nobody notices that I am falling apart too.

I have made mistakes. I have trusted the wrong people. I have made choices I wish I could take back.

But I refuse to let those mistakes decide who I become.

Maybe I do not have everything figured out yet. Maybe I am scared. Maybe I am standing here with nothing but hope.

But I am still here.

And as long as I am still here, I have another chance.

So this time, I am not running away.

Whatever happens next, I will face it.”
