AUDITION SCRIPTS

COACH

Performance Direction:

Begin your audition by acting as though you are preparing your boxer for an important championship fight. Demonstrate natural coaching movements—such as correcting a fighter’s guard, giving instructions, or encouraging your boxer—before flowing naturally into the monologue. The entire performance, including the action and dialogue, must not exceed one minute.

Monologue

“Look at me. Boxing isn’t just about throwing punches. It’s about discipline. It’s about getting back up every single time life knocks you down. I’ve trained fighters who were stronger than you, faster than you, but they lacked one thing—heart. Heart is what wins fights. When that bell rings, forget the crowd, forget the cameras, forget the fear. Trust your training. Trust yourself. Keep your hands up, stay focused, and remember—you don’t become a champion because you never fall. You become one because you always get back up.”

ADAEZE

Monologue

“People think strength is never crying. They’re wrong. Real strength is choosing to keep going after life has broken your heart more than once. I’ve learned that every setback teaches you something. Every disappointment prepares you for something greater. So today, I’m done waiting for permission to chase my dreams. Whether I succeed or fail, I’ll know I had the courage to step forward.”

MUNACHI

Performance Direction:

Begin with natural shadow-boxing movements, showing your stance, footwork, balance, and controlled punches. Transition smoothly into the monologue. The entire performance, including the boxing demonstration and dialogue, must not exceed one minute.

Monologue

“The first time I stepped into a boxing gym, I was scared. I didn’t know the rules. I didn’t know if I belonged. But every punch I threw made me stronger. Every defeat made me wiser. Today, I don’t fight to prove people wrong. I fight because I’ve discovered who I am. The ring doesn’t reward excuses—it rewards preparation. And when that bell rings, I’m ready to give everything I’ve got.”

BACKGROUND ACTORS

Create a natural performance as a gym member, trainee, spectator, or ringside supporter reacting to a boxing event. Your performance should feel authentic and should not exceed one minute.
