MONOLOGUES

1. EMEKA (Male 20 to 50)

“I keep asking myself how I ended up here… in this situation where everything I worked for feels like it is slipping through my hands. People think I am strong, like I always have it together, but the truth is I am tired. I have made choices I cannot undo, and every day I wake up carrying the weight of them. Still, I cannot give up. Not now. If I fall, everything falls with me. So I smile, I act fine, I move like nothing is wrong… but deep down, I am just trying to survive what life has turned me into.”

2. CHINEDU (Male 20 to 50)

“I was raised to believe that hard work is everything. No shortcuts. No excuses. But life does not always reward effort the way they told us. I have worked, I have suffered, I have sacrificed and still I am here asking myself if it was ever enough. Maybe I trusted the wrong people, maybe I stayed too long where I should not have. But one thing I know is this, I cannot go back to nothing. I have to fight my way forward, even if it means standing alone.”

3. NNENA (Female 20 to 50)

“I am not the same person I used to be. Life changed me in ways I did not expect. I loved deeply, I trusted completely, and I lost almost everything because of it. People see me and think I am okay, but they do not see the nights I question everything. Still I refuse to break completely. I refuse to let my story end in pain. If I have to rebuild myself piece by piece, I will. But I will not stay broken.”
